Golf Course Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our golf course maintenance team. In this role some of the responsibilities are:

• Perform general golf course maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging
• Maintain landscape beds around the clubhouse grounds
• Plant and maintain trees, flowers and ornamental plantings
• Repair ball marks and fill divots on playing surfaces
• Rake and maintain bunkers and practice areas
• Assist with sod installation and turf repair
• Operate small turf equipment including blowers, weed eaters, utility vehicles, and walk-behind mowers
• Maintain and clean equipment used on the golf course
• Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of cart areas, parking lots, and walkways
• Assist with aerification and other cultural practices
• Support the golf course maintenance team with additional tasks as assigned by the superintendent

The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a desire for growth. Understanding the game of golf and/or experience in landscaping is a plus. Must be available for weekends and holidays in season. Must be an early riser, the daily work schedule starts as early as 6:00am . Must be flexible and willing to work outside during adverse weather.
