Duties

• Maintain the overall health and appearance of the golf course by performing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine adjustments to promote healthy turf growth.
• Assist with landscaping projects including planting, fertilizing, aerating, and soil management to enhance course aesthetics.
• Conduct regular lawn care activities like fertilization, aeration, and pest control to keep turf in optimal condition.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks including pruning, digging, and debris removal.
• Support gardening efforts by planting new greenery, maintaining flower beds, and ensuring all landscaping elements are well-kept.
• Collaborate with team members to execute daily maintenance plans that uphold safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or strong interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and landscaping techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers safely.
• Familiarity with land management equipment including mowers, aerators, and other turf maintenance machinery is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent teamwork skills; ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and environmental stewardship in all maintenance activities. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
