Use your experience as a groundskeeper at a world-class Arnold Palmer designed golf course to maintain the condition and appearance of our beautiful resort. You will be a member a team of groundskeepers and lanscape artists that will ensure the greens, sand pits, bunkers, fairways and tees are maintained for optimum playing during our peak season.
Golf Groundskeeper
General Responsibilities:

Operate equipment including, power mowers and string trimmers to maintain putting greens, bunkers, fairways, and tees.

Fill divots and edge bunkers and cart paths.

Set tee markers and cups on greens as directed; sand and seed tee and drop area divots.

Rake and maintains sand bunkers.
-
Assist with spraying weeds, fertilizing, trimming trees, hauling debris, shop cleaning and construction projects as needed.

Water tees, greens and fairways; operate irrigation heads as needed.

Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
-
Debris removal from grounds.

Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed.
Additional Responsibilities:

Keep work area neat and organized.

Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.

Maintains safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.

Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.

Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by theRunning Y Properties Employee Handbook.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Prior golf course grounds keeping experience preferred but not required.
-
Minimum of 1 year experienced in landscaping related experience is required.

Mechanical aptitude; knowledge of maintenance tools.

Familiarity with golf.
-
Possession of government required licenses or certificates.
