The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf operations at one (1) of the Qiddiya Golf Courses, ensuring a world class experience for members and guests. This role includes managing the day to day operations of the golf course, including the golf shop, tee times, tournaments, golf academy and all golf events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in golf management, a passion for the game, and the ability to lead a team in delivering exceptional service.

This role involves managing the operational aspects of the golf course, including the coordination of tee times, tournaments, and special events, as well as overseeing the golf shop and golf academy. The Golf Operations Manager is also responsible for maintaining the highest standards of service, ensuring the course is in pristine condition, and upholding the club's reputation for excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Golf Course Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the golf course, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards.
- Manage tee time reservations, ensuring efficient scheduling and a smooth flow of play.
- Monitor the pace of play on the course, addressing any issues that arise to ensure an enjoyable experience for all players.
Pro Shop and Retail Management
- Oversee the operations of the pro shop, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales.
- Ensure that the pro shop offers a wide range of high quality golf equipment, apparel, and accessories that meet the needs of members and guests.
- Implement sales strategies and promotions to increase pro shop revenue.
Player Services
- Oversee player services, including bag drop, club cleaning, and golf cart management, ensuring that all aspects of the golfing experience are seamless.
- Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable about the course and able to assist players with any questions or concerns.
Tournament and Event Coordination
- Plan and coordinate all golf tournaments and special events, working closely with the events team to ensure they run smoothly and meet the club's standards.
- Manage all aspects of tournament logistics, including registration, pairings, scoring, and prize distribution.
- Ensure that all events are well organised and provide an exceptional experience for participants.
Member and Guest Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members and guests, ensuring their needs and preferences are understood and met.
- Address any member or guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Implement programs and services that enhance the overall member experience, such as clinics, lessons, and social events.
Staff Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of golf operations staff, including pro shop attendants, starters, caddies, and marshals.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment that encourages teamwork, high morale, and a commitment to excellence.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to ensure staff meet the club's high standards of service.
