Goods Room Supervisor

The Goods Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization and management of inventory in a retail setting. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. The Goods Room Supervisor is also responsible for overseeing a team of stockroom associates and ensuring that all stockroom processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of stockroom, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. Ensure products are received, unpacked, and stored in a timely and efficient manner
• Overseeing a team of stockroom associates. This involves providing training and guidance to ensure that all stockroom processes are carried out accurately and efficiently.
• Scheduling and delegating tasks to staff
• Ensuring that the stockroom is organized and clean at all time

Requirements:

• Previous experience in stockroom management, preferably in a retail setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
• Aced environment
• Proficient in computer programs and stockroom management software
