Google Ads Account Manager — Full-Time | Digital Marketing Agency

About Us

Digital Visibility Concepts is a 20-year digital marketing agency managing $6M+ in annual Google Ads spend across 65+ client accounts. We work with businesses spending $1K–$200K+/month on paid search across dozens of industries. This isn't a startup figuring things out — we have the infrastructure, the clients, and the systems. We need the right person to own a portfolio of accounts end-to-end: performance AND relationships.

The Role

You'll manage a portfolio of Google Ads client accounts in our MCC environment — both the campaign execution and the client relationships. That means you're in the accounts daily optimizing performance, AND you're the person on the monthly Zoom call explaining results, answering questions, and making sure the client feels taken care of.

This is a full-cycle account management role. You own the work and you own the relationship.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across your portfolio of client accounts daily
  • Build new campaigns from scratch including keyword research, ad copy, and structure
  • Monitor performance, adjust bids, and manage budgets across accounts
  • Maintain negative keyword lists and search term hygiene
  • Set up and verify conversion tracking
  • Run monthly performance review calls with clients via Zoom
  • Communicate proactively with clients — flag issues before they ask, share wins when they happen
  • Produce performance reports and translate data into plain English for business owners
  • Identify upsell opportunities and flag them to leadership
  • Collaborate with senior team members on campaign strategy

You Must Have

  • 2+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience at an agency (not in-house/single brand)
  • Experience working inside an MCC managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Direct client communication experience — you've been on calls with business owners and can explain PPC performance without jargon
  • Strong understanding of campaign structure, match types, bidding strategies, and Quality Score
  • Experience with Google Analytics and conversion tracking setup
  • Ability to look at an account and quickly identify wasted spend and optimization opportunities
  • Google Ads certification
  • Professional communication skills — written and verbal

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Google Shopping, Performance Max, or YouTube campaigns
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Experience with SpyFu, SEMrush, or other competitive intelligence tools

This is a fully remote position with real accountability. We use Trackabi time tracking with screenshots to ensure productivity and transparency across the team. This applies to everyone, not just you — it's how we operate as a distributed agency. If you're someone who does the work, this won't bother you.   • How many Google Ads client accounts have you managed simultaneously, and what was the largest monthly ad spend you were personally responsible for? Were you the client-facing contact on those accounts?
  • You inherit an account spending $15K/month with a 2% conversion rate and rising cost per lead. The client is frustrated and asking what's going on. Walk me through your first 48 hours — what do you look at in the account, and what do you say to the client before you have a fix?
  • What's your biggest Google Ads optimization win? Specific numbers — what was the situation, what did you change, and what happened to performance? How did you communicate the win to the client?
  • This role uses time tracking software with screenshots to ensure accountability across our distributed team. Everyone on the team uses it. Are you comfortable with this, and have you used time tracking tools in a previous role?
