Government Liaison Officer

Description: The GLO is responsible to coordinate, liaise, and a key interface to communicate between the company and government authorities/organizations, handle legal paperwork and documentation of the company, and implementation of government mandates adhering to the regular amendments in rules and regulations within deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Support the team in business facilitation in ensuring a high level of GR activities and ensure effective communication with Government Agencies like but not limited to DLD, MOHRE, GDRFA, DHA, MOH, Nakheel, Trakhees, DDA etc

· Setting up companies and undertake other licensing procedures in different Emirates and free zones as required by business.

· Provide expert advice to business and employees on all visa formalities and all other government related procedures.

· Handling project approvals from government authorities.

· Manage Emiratization quotas and requirements.

· Report and present data reports from government portals internally

· Manage pensions through GPSSA for all UAE nationals within the company.

· Consult on legal issues regarding employment laws.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree or equivalent

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with demonstrable knowledge of all GRO functions in UAE

· Must have good contacts with the Government Departments/Authorities and should have experience in liaising with government authorities and embassies.

· Strong understanding of UAE labour and immigration laws

· Proficiency in speaking and writing Arabic & English

· Valid UAE Driving license is mandatory required

· Emirati National is preferred

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

· Proficiency in handling legal and administrative paperwork.
