Government Tenders Accountant

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Government Tenders Accountant to join our finance team in Al Khor. This role is essential in managing financial aspects of government tenders, ensuring accurate costing, compliance with tender requirements, and supporting competitive bidding strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise combined with experience in tendering and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial documentation for government tenders and bids
• Develop accurate cost estimates, pricing structures, and financial proposals
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements, financial regulations, and submission deadlines
• Analyze tender documents to assess financial feasibility and risk exposure
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and management teams during bid preparation
• Maintain records of submitted tenders, contracts, and financial evaluations
• Support post-award financial tracking and contract cost monitoring
• Assist in audits and ensure transparency in all tender-related financial activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, procurement finance, or tender management
• Strong understanding of government tendering processes in Qatar is an advantage
• Excellent financial analysis and costing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills across departments
