GP Dentist

Job Summary

The GP Dentist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of oral diseases. The role requires strong clinical skills, patient care, and adherence to the highest standards of dental practice and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, and extractions.
• Provide preventive and restorative dental care for patients of all age groups.
• Take and interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, dietary habits, and preventive dental care.
• Prescribe medications and manage dental emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with dental specialists and support staff for optimal patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in dental surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
• Valid license from [DHA / MOH / DOH] (as per UAE regulations).
• Minimum [2–5 years] of clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position based in a dental clinic or medical center.
• Must comply with health and safety regulations.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings as required.
