What You’ll Do

  • Assist dentists and hygienists during restorative and general dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical standards
  • Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure they are properly documented
  • Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and treatment documentation
  • Ensure treatment plans and consent forms are properly completed and recorded
  • Perform specialized tasks such as bleaching, nightguards, crown deliveries, suture removals, and fabricating temporary restorations
  • Clean and polish removable appliances and ensure proper fit
  • Produce study casts by pouring, trimming, and polishing models while maintaining lab case records
  • Maintain sterilization standards and follow OSHA infection control protocols
  • Support smooth patient flow and help keep the clinic running efficiently
  • Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and front office staff to deliver excellent patient care
  • Provide guidance and support to new dental assistants when needed
