Job Summary:
Responsible for the installation and repair of GPS Fleet Tracking Units /Telematics Equipment into customer vehicles of all types.
Major Responsibilities:

Managing the GPS units’ installations / Removals / Transfers and ensuring a proper functionality of the unit by coordinating with the customer support agent.

Making sure that the vehicle is left in the same condition it was at the handover.

Getting restricted by the schedules set by the customer support agents and making sure being present at the customer location on time.

Making sure to use only the tools which are approved by the technical supervisor.

Ensuring the tools and all the company assets are kept in a good working condition.

Always reporting to the technical supervisor in case any damage or loss on any tool or asset.

SamTech uniform cleanness has to be maintained.

Preparing a detailed report after each customer visit and submitting it to the customer support agent on the same day through Email.

Troubleshoot and rectify any hardware related issues.

Managing the new hardware tests and report the observations to the technical supervisor.

Training the customers’ technicians when it is required.

Reporting to the operations team the completed activities immediately after getting the work done.

Always communicating with the customer 30 min prior the visit to ensure the vehicle availability.

Always notifying the customer in case any probabilities to reach late.

Any other work-related task that may arise
Skills:
-
Mandatory: Technician must be able to install all sensors (Fuel/Temperature / Door /Camera).

Knowledge of Auto Electric works / Vehicle Electrification.

Basic Communication skills both verbal & written.

Strong dedication to customer service.

Ability to deliver the task within the deadlines.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Diploma in Electronics or equivalent
Minimum Experience
2 Years in GPS & GPS Accessories installation
