Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher ( Block 7 Gulistan-e-Jauhar )

Key Responsibilities

• Academic Instruction:
• Deliver a comprehensive curriculum covering English, Mathematics, and Science.
• Foster foundational literacy and numeracy skills through engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Integrate creative arts and physical activities to ensure a balanced learning environment.
• Classroom Management:
• Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity.
• Establish clear routines and positive behavior management strategies.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students throughout the school day.
• Student Development:
• Monitor and document each child’s academic progress and social-emotional growth.
• Identify diverse learning needs and provide differentiated instruction to support every student.
• Cultivate essential "soft skills" such as sharing, teamwork, and independence.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Maintain regular, professional communication with parents regarding their child’s milestones and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with subject specialists to provide a cohesive learning experience.
• Update student records, attendance, and progress reports accurately on the school system.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.Sc/B.Ed). Specialized certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Montessori training is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching at the Primary level in a reputable school.
• Skills: * Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills to keep young learners engaged.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for preparing worksheets and reports.
• Personal Attributes: High energy, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Pay: From Rs45,000.00 per month
