Key Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and onboarding new suppliers in system with guidance of Buyer.
Help collect and analyze supplier quotations and prepare comparison reports.
Maintain and update vendor databases and procurement documentation.
Assist in preparing purchase orders and monitoring the delivery timeline with system activity.
Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, quality) to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, contracts, and procurement guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain principles is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow within sourcing/procurement function.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
Internship or academic project related to supply chain or sourcing.
