Graduate Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and motivated Graduate Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and supporting senior designers throughout project execution. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing interior design concepts and space planning solutions
• Prepare mood boards, presentations, and material selections
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings using design software
• Support project documentation and preparation of BOQs/specifications
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
• Ensure designs comply with client requirements, company standards, and regulations
• Research design trends, materials, finishes, and furniture selections
• Support senior designers in daily project activities and deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in interior design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar design software
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign is an advantage
• Strong creativity, communication, and presentation skills
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, and space planning
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of FF&E selection
• Understanding of local authority regulations and standards
• Ability to prepare design presentations and client proposals
