Job Purpose:

The Printing & Packaging Graphics Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and technically accurate packaging designs that align with brand identity, market trends, and printing requirements. The role involves designing layouts, illustrations, and mockups for various packaging formats while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance with printing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging Design & Development
• Develop innovative and attractive packaging designs for products, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Create dielines, mockups, and prototypes for different packaging materials (, pouches, corrugated boxes, etc.).
• Adapt existing designs into multiple packaging sizes and formats.
• Pre-Press & Printing Coordination
• Prepare print-ready files with accurate colors, bleeds, crop marks, and die cuts.
• Coordinate with printers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality printing results.
• Ensure designs are compatible with printing techniques (offset, flexography, rotogravure, digital printing, screen printing, etc.).
• Branding & Visual Communication
• Maintain consistency of brand identity across all packaging materials.
• Work with the marketing team to design promotional packaging and seasonal editions.
• Suggest design improvements for better shelf visibility and consumer engagement.
• Market Research & Innovation
• Stay updated on packaging design trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Suggest cost-effective and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with product development, procurement, and quality teams.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure accurate color matching, material quality, and finishing.
• Provide technical design support during production runs.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Strong knowledge of packaging design, pre-press, color management, and print production.
• Understanding of materials (paperboard, corrugated, plastic, flexible packaging).
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and vendor management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Printing Technology, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in packaging design / printing industry ( experience preferred).

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
