Job Title: Granite Mason

Location: UAE – Sharjah

Job Purpose:Building Construction Projects

To carry out installation, fixing, cutting, polishing, and finishing works of granite, marble, and other natural stones in building construction projects, ensuring high-quality standards, accuracy, and compliance with safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, shape, and polish granite and marble stones as per drawings and specifications.

Fix granite/marble for flooring, wall cladding, stairs, countertops, skirting, and other decorative/structural purposes.

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortar for stone fixing.

Align and fit stones using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precision.

Carry out grouting, sealing, and finishing works for durability and aesthetic appeal.

Repair and replace damaged granite/marble works when required.

Handle, lift, and position heavy granite/marble pieces safely with the help of lifting equipment.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper condition.

Skills and Competencies:

Expertise in cutting, shaping, polishing, and fixing granite and marble.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and stone layout details.

Knowledge of adhesives, sealants, grout, and related fixing materials.

Skilled in using stone cutting machines, grinders, polishing tools, and hand tools.

Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials.

Attention to detail and finishing quality.

Knowledge of site safety standards in UAE construction industry.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Granite/Marble Mason in building construction.

Practical knowledge of various granite/marble types and installation techniques.

Experience in UAE or GCC construction sector preferred.
