Graphic and Printing Manager

Job Summary:

Graphic Design and Print Operations departments candidate will manage the design and production of visual materials for various events and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of wide format printers and vinyl application processes. This role requires a strong background in graphic design, print production, and team management to ensure high-quality output and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

○ Oversee and manage the Graphic Design and Wide Format Print Operations teams.

○ Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to ensure cohesive and efficient

operations.

○ Adding work units through basecamp for each department and employee

○ Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures.

○ Collaborate with creative designers to understand and fulfill design requirements for events.

○ Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity.

○ Manage the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wide format media printers.

○ Oversee vinyl application processes, ensuring precision and accuracy.

○ Monitor print progress, conduct quality control inspections, and make necessary adjustments.

○ Maintain inventory of print and vinyl materials, reorder supplies as needed, and manage

production schedules.

○ Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.

○ Prioritize tasks effectively to balance design and production workload.

○ Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design and print projects.

○ Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

● Proven experience in graphic design and print operations, with a strong portfolio showcasing event-related

design work.

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator ..

● Experience operating wide format printers (TrueVIS VG3-540 or similar) and applying vinyl materials.

  • Experience in laser cutting and power tools

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

● Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

● Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting and maneuvering heavy rolls of media and vinyl materials.

Physical Requirements:

● Work on your feet or be stationary for at least 10 hours a day.

● Ability to seize, grasp, bend, pull, crouch, climb ladders, and kneel.

● Lift, carry, move, or pull at least 50 pounds

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
