Job Summary
Crispy Cones is seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Design Specialist to create compelling visual content that brings our brand to life across various platforms. This role will be responsible for designing branded merchandise, print and digital materials, app and website interfaces, and custom illustrations that support marketing, community engagement, and corporate communication initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong technical design skills and a passion for consistency, storytelling, and brand identity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design digital marketing materials, including flyers, posters, advertisements, and signage for in-store and community relations.
- Create branded merchandise designs for apparel, packaging, and promotional materials.
- Assist in the visual design and layout of the Crispy Cones mobile app and website, ensuring a user-friendly and visually consistent interface.
- Develop original illustrations that reflect the brand’s personality and can be used in digital content, promotional campaigns, or packaging.
- Collaborate with the marketing and executive teams to develop visual assets for new campaigns, product launches, or seasonal promotions.
- Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the Crispy Cones brand by ensuring consistency in style, color, and tone across all design materials.
- Prepare and deliver final designs in appropriate formats for printing, publishing, and web use.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay up to date on design trends, software tools, and best practices relevant to food service and retail branding.
- Perform additional design-related tasks or projects as assigned by the direct supervisor to support team and company objectives.
Knowledge
- Deep understanding of design principles, branding, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency in graphic design programs, particularly Photoshop.
- Knowledge of website and mobile app layout principles and design usability.
- Familiarity with preparing design files for both digital and print production.
Skills
- Strong graphic design and illustration skills with a consistent, brand-aligned aesthetic.
- Excellent time management and organization skills to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take creative direction and translate ideas into effective visuals.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in graphic design, illustration, or related creative field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, including digital, print, merchandise, and custom illustrations.
- Experience designing for consumer-facing brands, especially in the food, retail, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with website design tools such as Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
Pay: $12.00 per hour
