Position: Graphic Design Specialist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Operations Director
Position Description: Design visual concepts to communicate information by hand or with computer software. Work with team members to create customer orders, enhance the scope of the Business Platform through a variety of different marketing strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help with strategies and schedules to provide innovative ideas that create a competitive edge to meet customers’ and company goals
- Work with team members to design and print orders from customers and LifeSkills Connection company and subsidiaries
- Work with team members to build conceptual, strategic, and collaborative ideas to drive and improve marketing
- Greet and interact with customers to problem-solve; document complaints and develop an appropriate course of action
- Demonstrate ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in analyzing, and resolving issues and situations with minimal supervision
- Report problems to Operations Director when appropriate
- Assist with departmental projects as necessary, including, but not limited to website maintenance, direct email programs, and database management
- Ensure operation of office equipment, order maintenance when necessary; troubleshoot malfunction of office equipment
- Answer customer calls, take messages as needed; communicate with Operations Director as directed
- Communicate with team members and Operations Director on the completion of products and orders
- Provide general support to customers, walk-ins or phone calls, etc.
- Ensure projects are completed with high-quality and on schedule
- Assist with shipping and receiving process, as needed
- Perform other duties or special projects, as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field preferred
- One year experience in graphic design preferred
- Proficient in Access, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
