Graphic Designer / Sales & Customer Account Specialist

Minuteman Press is seeking a motivated Graphic Designer with a strong customer service and sales background. This role combines creative design, print production knowledge, and direct customer sales interaction. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We do not work weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Create print-ready designs using Adobe Illustrator & InDesign
• Consult with customers to understand marketing and print needs
• Prepare and present quotes; close sales opportunities
• Manage customer accounts and build long-term relationships
• Prepare files for print (bleeds, crops, color calibration, imposition)
• Coordinate production timelines with internal team
• Upsell additional print, signage, promotional, and marketing products
• Ensure customer satisfaction from concept to delivery

Qualifications:

• 2+ years graphic design experience
• Strong sales and customer-facing experience
• Proven ability to upsell and close orders
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of print production processes preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Major responsibilities:

Communicate with customers via email and phone

Quoting jobs and / or projects for customers (training available)

Handle Design projects quickly and efficiently

Control job proofing process

Run printing and finishing equipment (training available)

Assist in other areas of the store as needed

You Must:

Technical Skills:

Adobe Creative Cloud (required : Illustrator and InDesign)

Microsoft Office

Prepress / Layout for print production

Knowledge of color management and bleed

Print experience is a plus but not required

Compensation:

Starting rate is $19- $20/hr. Compensation will be negotiated to $20 to $21/hr after 90 day period. Bonus opportunities available after one year of employment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
