Junior Part-Time Designer – J2 Marketing

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer who is eager to grow their skills while contributing to a wide variety of client projects.

The Role

The Junior Designer is a hands-on creative who will support our design team in producing high-quality visuals across digital and print platforms. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating work that both looks great and performs well. You’ll work closely with senior team members to bring brand strategies to life while learning and growing as a designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze design briefs to determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and ideas
• Create rough drafts and present design concepts to design lead for feedback
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other visuals using software or hand-drawn techniques
• Choose appropriate colors and layouts to enhance each design
• Partner with content lead and the design lead to produce polished final designs
• Test graphics across various media formats to ensure quality
• Revise designs based on feedback and project needs
• Ensure final deliverables are consistent with brand guidelines

Skills

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Understanding of print and digital best practices
• A keen eye for detail and file organization
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work methodically
• Animation skills are a plus!

• Job Type: Part-time (20-30 hours/week)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
