This position supports the work of the Greater Philadelphia Y, a leading nonprofit, committed to strengthening community by connecting people to healthier lives. The graphic designer is a member of the Association Marketing team. This important role helps move the brand and communication through design for the entire organization. This position requires strong design, understanding of brand and the ability to work at a very fast pace. Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer, the designer will lead all design and production work to serve the branches, childcare, financial development, and any internal design needs.

What is needed for this job:
  • Must submit portfolio to be considered for this position at time of application
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field with minimum 3 years of professional design experience.
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, canva
  • Must be organized, able to multi-task and know how to work in team environment
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, a customer-first attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Must have ability and desire to work in a fast paced and sometimes unpredictable environment
  • Must be able to work successfully under tight deadlines
The responsibilities we will trust you with:
  • Design and output all digital and print materials requested by the Association and branches
  • Develop all digital design for ads, websites and social marketing assets
  • Design and output all marketing creative to include TV graphics, billboards, transit, point of purchase displays
  • Organize and maintain DAM for design
  • Help with all overall Association duties for Marketing & Communication including working events, photography, video as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
