Graphic Designer, SaaS & Marketing

This role requires a blend of creative marketing design and meticulous attention to detail in UI/UX, working closely with our development team who use Next.js and Node.js. The ideal candidate is an expert in Figma and passionate about creating designs that are both beautiful and functional across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & UI/UX Design (Figma Focus)

  • Design and Prototype: Create high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes for new and existing features of our SaaS application for both desktop and mobile using Figma.
  • Design System Maintenance: Contribute to, and maintain, our comprehensive visual design system and component library in Figma to ensure design consistency and efficient handover to developers.
  • Developer Collaboration: Work directly with the Next.js/Node.js development team to ensure seamless and accurate implementation of designs, providing detailed specifications and redlines.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure all product designs are fully responsive, accessible, and optimized for different screen sizes and platforms.
  • Visual QA: Participate in quality assurance to ensure the final product visually matches the approved design and user experience standards.

2. Marketing & Social Media Design

  • Social Media Content: Conceptualize and design engaging visual assets (static images, short video/motion graphics, infographics, carousels) for all social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Marketing Collateral: Design visually compelling marketing materials, including but not limited to, website graphics, landing pages, email templates, e-books, case studies, and presentation decks.
  • Brand Consistency: Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all internal and external visuals strictly adhere to brand guidelines, typography, and color palettes.
  • Creative Campaign Support: Collaborate with the Marketing and Content teams to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for product launches and marketing campaigns.

3. General Design & Strategy

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design software, social media trends, and SaaS industry design best practices.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Present and clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: [2] years of proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, or UI/UX Designer, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional aesthetic sense, visual design skills, and examples of both marketing and user interface projects.
  • Figma Mastery: Expert proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and design system creation.
  • Design Fundamentals: Deep understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Digital Marketing Design: Proven experience creating high-impact graphics tailored for various social media platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing).
  • Technical Awareness: Familiarity with the web development process and modern tech stacks (e.g., Next.js, React, Node.js) to ensure designs are technically feasible and optimized for performance.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

  • Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS concepts.
  • Familiarity with UX research principles or usability testing methodologies.
  • Experience designing for a B2B SaaS product.
