What You’ll Do

Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill (BOCM) is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to contribute to a variety of print and digital design projects in a fast-paced, creative environment. This role works closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and Director of Creative & Digital Marketing to produce high-quality visual content that strengthens our brand identity and supports business objectives. The ideal candidate brings high productivity, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling, while ensuring consistency and alignment across the Blake’s brand.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design marketing materials for both print and digital platforms, including but not limited to flyers, large-format signage, email newsletters, menus, billboards, apparel, coupons, social media graphics, presentations, and website media
  • Prepare print files for pre-press, ensuring proper color management, bleed, trim, and resolution requirements
  • Maintain and organize cloud-based creative assets, including photo libraries, design templates, fonts, logos, and brand guidelines, ensuring seamless accessibility and collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate efficient access to and utilization of creative resources
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and pre-press production to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output
  • Variable work hours, including evening, weekends and holidays, based on seasonal demands

Who You Are

o Required Qualifications

  • BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dropbox, and macOS
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Canva is preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Armada, MI 4 days out of the week
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color, and layout
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and understands how creative is used to satisfy business goals
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Portfolio showcasing past work that demonstrates creativity, style, and technical expertise is required for consideration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
