Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that communicate ideas effectively and attractively. From conceptualization to final execution, the designer will work across various mediums, including illustrations, logos, websites, layouts, and multimedia, ensuring designs align with the brands. The goal is to engage and inform the target audience, whether it’s through a website, social media post, or large-scale advertising. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure designs meet specific business requirements and consumer expectations.


Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities (TDR):

Below is a list of TDRs which must be completed to achieve the objectives of this position:

  • Design Concept Development & Execution:

• Present concepts and design artwork in alignment with brand requirements and latest industry trends.

• Work with the private lap section team to create new products by designing them, liaising with factories for samples, and ensuring successful product launches.

• Develop a wide range of design assets including logos, website layouts, advertisements, banners, and product packaging.

• Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style that match the vision of the project.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams & Celebrity Management:

• Collaborate with celebrities to identify their specific design needs for logos, products, and other promotional materials.

• Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing & media, digital marketing, and celebrity management, to meet the design requirements for banners, product packaging, and other marketing materials.

• Follow up with the digital marketing team on campaign timelines, ensuring designs are aligned with marketing objectives and are completed within the creative timelines.

• Communicate with the marketing & media team post-launch to track the effectiveness of celebrity driven designs and ensure designs are meeting the target audience's needs.

  • Design Creation & Quality Control:

• Study design briefs and determine the requirements for each project, ensuring the visual output meets the company’s expectations.

• Prepare rough drafts of design ideas and present them for feedback.

• Use design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) or hand-drawn techniques to develop illustrations, logos, and other designs, keeping brand consistency in mind.

• Ensure all final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and meet the specifications set by the creative team.

• Review final layouts and suggest improvements to enhance the visual impact and effectiveness of the designs.

  • Research & Trend Implementation:

• Continuously research graphic design trends within the relevant sectors to stay ahead of industry standards and incorporate best practices into designs.

• Conduct benchmark analysis and implement trends that will improve the effectiveness of the department’s design strategy.

• Explore and implement innovative design ideas for marketing, product packaging, website designs, and multimedia content to enhance visual experience for consumers.

  • Cross Department Coordination & Final Deliverables:

• Coordinate the creation of designs related to other departments, including purchasing banners, ensuring that each design is accurate and delivered on time.

• Upload finalized designs to the appropriate applications, ensuring that they are ready for production and publishing.

• Execute specific design tasks related to sister companies, including logo designs and promotional posts, maintaining consistency across all brands and platforms.

• Design specific products under the Boutiqaat brand as per the business requirements, ensuring that designs are unique, attractive, and align with the company’s vision.


Job Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in 3D Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.

• Systems & Languages:

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom), CorelDraw,

• Familiarity with web design and UX/UI principles.

• Fluent in Arabic, English is a plus.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles including typography, color theory, layout design, and branding.

• Expertise in production, printing, and dissemination techniques, ensuring optimal quality for print and digital distribution.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
