Wasserman seeks a talented and driven Designer to help create work for a major sports product brand and lifestyle tech company. Your job will be working on building brand creative and brand stories across global campaigns with the focus being social storytelling.

Primarily, you will be helping create, build and ideate social brand content for two major brands that shape culture, so it must look professional and polished. A passion for great looking graphics that are dynamic, eye-popping are mandatory. We’re looking for an eye that can play within existing brand guidelines but push brands towards solutions they don’t see. Taste is of the utmost importance as you’ll be working with a very tight-knit and talented team who will depend on you within all layers of the project. A level of dependence, accountability and vocality is required.

A passion for craft, attention to detail and being able to elevate existing art direction are all key characteristics of the job. Not only will you be an executional hand for the team, but involved in ideation and meetings to be a part of the larger vision. A passion for sports is strongly recommended, something that goes beyond fandom and understands the culture around leagues, players and teams. Another key component will be an understanding of social trends, experimenting with creative output and mastery of knowing what makes our audiences stop their scroll.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience developing creative assets.

- Strong attention to detail; pixel perfect perfectionists preferred.


- Very strong animation and motion skills.


- Must have strong proficiency with Illustrator, After Effects, and Photoshop
(Bonus points for Premiere, DaVinci, Blender)

- Can quickly pick up and follow brand visual identities/rules, and understand how they work so you can create room for innovation between the prescribed rules

- Familiarity with design rules, graphic design, motion graphics and popular editing trends and executions are necessary.

- Must work well with others, both socially and in craft; must know how to format working files for easy sharing and pickup between team members, and exporting assets for easy integration with After Effects and Premiere.


- Must have experience/work well with large file transfers and familiarity with exporting for social platforms final output


- Must be familiar with UI/UX design and understand how function informs

great design


Base salary range: $80 - $95k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited

to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized

skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations,

tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed

is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
