Looking for Graphic Designer...

Designer Requirements — Kraft Packaging (Printed Artwork + Pantone Knowledge)

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing printed artwork for:

Kraft papeR bags, cups, bowls, trays, and food boxes

Must have completed real production work — not just digital mockups

Artwork & Color Management Skills:

Expert in creating print-ready vector artwork

Strong understanding of designing for brown Kraft paper, including:

Color contrast on brown substrates

Ink visibility and limitations

Minimalist and eco-style design aesthetics

Pantone Color Knowledge (Mandatory):

Skilled in using the Pantone Matching System (PMS):

Knows how to choose correct PMS colors that print well on Kraft paper

Understands color shifting due to the natural brown base

Can prepare artwork using spot colors for flexo or offset printing

Familiar with Pantone Solid Coated and Uncoated books

Able to communicate exact Pantone codes to print vendors

Software Proficiency:

Adobe Illustrator – advanced

Adobe Photoshop – for mockups & packaging visuals

Printing & Prepress Experience:

Knowledge of flexo, offset, and screen printing methods for Kraft

Experience preparing:

Dielines with cut lines, folds, bleed, and safe zones

CMYK vs. Pantone artwork files

Prepress specs for various printers

Portfolio Requirement:

Must provide real examples of:

Printed Kraft packaging (photos or product images)

Dieline + artwork files showing PMS codes and layout

Optional: Before/after results showing Pantone color adjustments
