Graphic Designer

Full Time Permanent Position – 8:00 to 5:00pm Monday through Friday

Starting pay $30.00 per hour plus benefits including 13 Paid Time Off (PTO) days per year, paid holidays and a group health insurance plan available after 30 days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create multi-page brochures for regular mail outs
• Design artwork for marketing campaigns and magazine ads
• Assist with new product packaging design and layout
• Manage ad hoc graphic design projects as needed
• Assist with maintenance of company website
• Create, manage and maintain graphic files including stock and custom-created illustrations.
• You will be working with 1 other designer who will train and mentor you.

Job Requirements:

• BA/BS in graphic design or equivalent working experience
• 3+ years print and packaging graphic design experience
• Strong conceptual and design skills with the ability to offer creative input and design solutions.
• Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
• Expert knowledge of printing technologies and procedures including writing print specs, requesting quotes and setting up print-ready files.
• Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Experience creating mobile, tablet, and desktop-friendly assets for web assignments
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Positive and energetic attitude, with a strong desire to meet goals and commitments
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a major plus
• Experience in retouching photos is a plus
