Key responsibilities
- Design creation: Conceptualize and create visual assets for various applications such as social media posts, brochures, logos, websites, and product packaging.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing, copywriters, and other team members to develop creative ideas and ensure brand consistency across all projects.
- Brand management: Maintain and evolve the company's visual identity, including creating style guides for logos and other brand materials.
- Project management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Technical execution: Use design software like Photoshop, InDesign, and other tools to create and prepare final files for print or digital use.
- Client/stakeholder communication: Meet with clients or internal stakeholders to understand project needs and present design concepts for approval.
- Trend research: Stay updated on the latest design trends, software, and techniques to keep designs current and effective.
Required skills and qualifications
- Technical skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential.
- Design principles: Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills are crucial for collaborating and meeting deadlines.
