Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing designs for digital platforms, print media, branding materials, and promotional campaigns. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas into high-quality visual content aligned with the organization’s brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Creative Development
- Develop graphics, illustrations, layouts, and visual concepts for campaigns and communication material.
- Create posters, banners, brochures, social media posts, infographics, presentations, and branding content.
- Ensure consistent use of brand elements, templates, and style guidelines across all designs.
2. Social Media & Digital Content
- Design social media creatives for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
- Develop thumbnails, stories, reels graphics, and digital advertisements.
- Support the media team with appealing designs for content calendars.
3. Branding & Marketing Support
- Work on branding elements such as logos, typography, color schemes, and templates.
- Create designs for events, workshops, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Ensure all communication material reflects organizational values and visual identity.
4. Print & Production Support
- Prepare print-ready files for vendors and printers.
- Coordinate with printing vendors for quality control and timely delivery.
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, formatting, and color proofing.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the media, communications, and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with project leads for design requirements and approvals.
- Incorporate feedback and revise designs as needed.
6. Software & Technical Skills
- Use professional tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or similar.
- Stay updated with design trends, modern layouts, and creative techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and modern design platforms.
- Understanding of layout principles, typography, color theory, and brand design.
