Summary
Effectively communicate, through graphic design/visual communications, the hospital mission/vision, key messages and positioning to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities

Translates/communicates complex medical and corporate jargon into easily understandable graphic elements for all internal and external audiences

Interacts professionally with peers, vendors, and internal partners in a manner that represents Children's positively and fosters collaborative relationships in order to gain the necessary depth required to deliver effective communications.

Creates and executes graphic design/visual communication, including the design of printed and online communication vehicles and collateral (print and online) for internal and external communications and fundraising. Implements tactical elements of graphic design that are part of a strategic communication initiative or develops and implements visual communications that have moderate scope and complexity.
Work Experience
How You’ll Be Successful:

At least 3 years experience in internal, employee or corporate, non-profit or agency communications positions and excellent writing skills Required

High-quality graphic design experience for traditional and emerging communication channels Required

Knowledge of printing processes from paper stock through final production Required

Experience using Macintosh, desktop publishing programs and software, including In Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and MS Office. Required

HTML experience Preferred

At least 5 years Experience in all areas of required experience combined Preferred
EDUCATION

Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Professional degree/training in graphic design, art/illustration or related field. Preferred
