Graphic Designer

Garden City Monument Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Sales & Graphic Designer to join our team.

This role combines customer consultations, monument sales, and custom memorial design. You will meet with families to help design meaningful monuments while also preparing artwork for engraving and production.

No monument industry experience is required — we are willing to train the right person in Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Composer, and CorelDRAW.

This is a professional, customer-facing position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with families during sensitive times.

Responsibilities

• Meet with families to guide them through monument design and selection
• Create custom layouts and proofs for customer approval
• Prepare vector artwork for engraving and production
• Learn and use Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Composer, and CorelDRAW
• Provide pricing, quotes, and explain product options clearly
• Maintain accurate customer records and design files
• Follow up with leads and existing clients

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Graphic design experience a plus, but not required (we will train)
