Graphic Designer

This position will be responsible for designing signs and graphics of all kinds. From Interior / Exterior Signage using all forms of industry substrates. Vehicle Graphics, Lighted Signs, Print products, Decals, , Etc. This position requires customer skills, working with customers on their projects to their desired end look, based on fabrication abilities. This is a 3d design job designing signage and branding to the clients space. We work with many national and regional brands. We are looking for someone that has a Design to Build concept mentality. Sign industry design is recommended, but not required.

This person daily duties include, but not limited to:

• Assisting customers to set initial lead of project.
• Design high end layouts and updating revisions in timely fashion.
• Logo designs.
• Knowledge of the sign industry layouts and design. “What good is a sign if you are unable to read it.”
• Always searching to be better at designs per the application given to work with.
• Setting up project to design and production / router files as need be.
• Pre -set up of print / cut files and projects / blueprint knowledge.
• Working with printing / color matching / Pantone.
• Assisting Production team with updates and flow of your project.
• Upselling signage to complete Total Sign Solutions for the customer, securing the sale.
• Website and Social Media Knowledge.

Requirements:

• Previous Design Experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent team building skills, willingness to go the extra mile to meet our customer’s needs.
• Fluent in Graphic design programs (Flexisign); Illustrator; Word; Excel; Adobe, CAD based programs.
• Multi- Tasking proficiency.
• Ability to stay on schedule with timelines and understand the flow of production.
• Organizational skills to track projects and detailed with prompt follow ups.
• Daily presence on time with a winning, positive attitude ready to make a statement with your work.
• Able to troubleshoot issues and come up with solutions with the help of others.
• Blueprint and Math aptitude including measuring and drawing dimensions.
• Ability to go on site to meet with clients and ability to communicate with telephone conversations.
• Self – motivated and able to stay on task with little guidance after direction given.
• Ability to take corrections and apply now and future.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
