Graphic Designer

Position Overview:

Full-time salary in-person position for a Graphic Designer involving merchandise, package design, typesetting, proofreading and customer service skills. With a wide range of products and licensees, no two days are the same in this role. If you have a creative eye and technical skillset to bring your creativity to life, enjoy working both individually and as part of a team, are tech savvy, and have a passion for driving positive results, then we want to hear from you! Must be proficient on Mac platform. Must be able to work independently in an office environment. Organization skills are required and able to work with tight deadlines on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Generate new design ideas to refresh existing product line and marketing materials
• Take part in a team-oriented, collaborative approach to design
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, both under supervision and on your own
• Create design proofs for license approval
• Revise art files as necessary
• Design/build marketing materials, catalogs, ads, forms, reprints, and collateral materials used for sales and promotion.
• Design/build promotional displays, countertops, floor displays, ends caps, etc.
• Take photos and videos for use in print and online marketing materials
• Communicate project status and deadlines to supervisor as needed to ensure personal and department goals are met or exceeded
• Understanding of style guides to create products that support our licensee’s development
• Manage sample inventory and shipping request, including requests from salesmen for tradeshows or meetings.
• Work with warehouse manager for in-house showroom upkeep and tradeshows preparations.

Required:

· High proficiency with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and others)

· High proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint design and development

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to go from high level creative projects to mundane tasks.

Preferred:

• Degree in Graphic Design or other equivalent education and/or experience
• At least 5 years’ experience designing print and online marketing and branding
• Videography (shooting & editing) experience is a plus
