Who We’re Looking For

The Graphic Designer will assist in creating visual content for various platforms including our websites, social media, tradeshows, and print materials, while also developing new creative under the guidance of our external design consultant. This full-time position is a great opportunity to join and learn from a veteran marketing team as a leading supplier of food processing and packaging equipment. The Designer will report to the VP of Marketing and external consultant and work directly with our sales team, suppliers, vendors, and business partners. This is an in-office position that will allow the Designer to gain experience across multiple marketing disciplines.

This candidate should possess strong layout and design skills, production and photography skills, and experience with digital marketing and advertising. They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while completing multiple projects at any given time.

What You’ll Do

• Work with external design consultants to ensure consistent message and brand
• Assist with creation and modification of visual assets for digital and print media including social media posts, banners, and advertisements
• Assist with creation and modification of a wide range of marketing collateral and internal marketing materials
• Oversee monthly advertising insertion orders and media invoice collection
• Organize filing of all design assets including collateral, videos and photography
• Assist in photo and video shoots when necessary, including pre- and post-production efforts and editing
• Develop, edit and reorder promotional material as needed
• Support and manage strong relationships with suppliers, printers and advertising partners
• Support sales and drive brand awareness
• Assist with various internal events and initiatives as needed
• Travel to trade shows and/or events when necessary

Requirements:

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a similar related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of design experience, preferably in the food or manufacturing industries
• Capable of handling multiple design projects simultaneously, with care given to each
• Proficient written communication skills as well as a strong understanding of visual elements and design techniques to ensure brand consistency
• Strong creativity skills with an ability to handle pressure and deadlines
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across teams including sales, engineering, and operations
• Highly organized and a self-starter; meticulous attention to detail and follow through
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with video production including Adobe Premier and Final Cut is preferred
