--->We are looking for an Entry level Graphic Designer. Are you a highly-motivated, goal-oriented, well organized individual that has a sense of urgency to assist our Design Team with creating souvenir magnet designs at our factory at BetterMagnets.com?

--->If you are a Experienced level Graphic Designer that has experience turning pictures (photographs) into illustrations you are what we are looking for as we are on the cutting edge in US National Parks with our designs. The Experienced level Graphic Designer position starts at $21 per hour (must be able to turn pictures into illustrations).

• Some of our clients include: Bass Pro Shops / Cabela's, US National & State Parks, National Baseball HOF & Souvenir gift shops across the USA, we just launched end of 2022 and are growing extremely fast.

• Design Studio 88 Inc. d/b/a: BetterMagnets.com is looking for that diamond in the rough that's eager to produce designs that will be on refrigerators across the USA. We are FIRM on the $21 per hour to start for our Entry Level Graphic Designer Position that wants to grow with us. There is a learning curve for both of us and this is a entry level position into our company.

Applicant must be well-organized and computer proficient, the ability to multitask is key. You will be part of the graphics / design department and work under the supervision of our Operations Director. This is a Full Time 40hr position at our manufacturing production facility in North Phoenix, AZ.

• ---> Remember this in NOT a remote position, so before applying please be aware that we are located in North Phoenix off 16th Ave & Happy Valley Rd. (101 to 7th Street go North or I-17 off Happy Valley Rd)

• RESPONSIBILITIES: Potential to grow/learn = higher pay over time. $21 is the starting wage, again we are firm on that number for the Entry Level position (we will re-evaluate after 6 months) based on your designs and how well they accepted by our retailers. We are getting great responses from major retailers for our Better Magnets designs and we are and looking for that right fit to help design souvenir fridge magnets.
• Experience in Graphic design preferred
• Mac based -- MUST be skilled in using Adobe Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Extremely detail-oriented, focused and organized. Must have strong proof reading skills to ensure accuracy
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Social Media a plus (Instagram, X, Facebook etc.)
• You will also be handling incoming phone calls and e-mail inquiries from retailers; sending proofs to customers; while also providing necessary follow up of your proofs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High-school degree/GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator
• Great work-ethic, willing to go the extra mile!
• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
