Graphic Designer

Westword is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our Production Department. This Graphic Designer will work closely with multiple departments to create high-quality print, email, social and web materials. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment in which speed and accuracy are a must. We are a fun, team oriented department looking for someone with a positive attitude.

Essential Job Functions
Create print ads for our weekly publications under a strict deadline

Build web ads, HTML emails, videos and social assets to support the sales department

Support the marketing department with various tasks as needed

Multi-tasking and managing multiple projects at one time

Education/Training

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field, preferred

Experience

At least one year of experience working in a marketing or production department is ideal.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Familiarity with building HTML emails and video creation in Canva is also a plus.

This is a full time position. Flexible schedule and remote opportunities are available. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
