Graphic Designer

Job Overview
We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team and help bring creative concepts to life across digital and traditional channels. This role is ideal for someone who has strong visual design skills, experience creating animated display ads, and a sharp eye for branding, layout, and storytelling. Political campaign or advocacy experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality creative assets across digital, social, web, email, print, and display channels
• Create animated display ads and motion-based creative for digital campaigns
• Design and maintain website layouts and visual assets, with a strong preference for Squarespace experience
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative concepts that align with campaign goals and brand standards
• Translate strategic direction into compelling visual executions
• Prepare production-ready files and ensure assets meet platform specifications
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
• Stay current on design trends, animation techniques, and digital advertising best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of graphic design experience in an agency, in-house, or campaign environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital design work, branding, web design, and animated display creative
• Experience with website design and content updates, with experience in Squarespace or similar website platforms preferred
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign
• Understanding of digital advertising formats, sizing, and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Political campaign, advocacy, or public affairs experience is a plus
• Based in Columbus with occasional in-office work (minimum two days per month)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
