JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual content that supports the company’s marketing, branding, and communication efforts. This role develops engaging digital and print materials—including brochures, trade show displays, social media graphics, infographics, and advertisements—while ensuring all designs align with Thermo Bond’s brand standards.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams such as Sales, Engineering, and Business Development, the Graphic Designer transforms technical information and project details into clear, visually compelling materials for clients and partners. The role also supports content development, branded merchandise, and marketing campaigns while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, and skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong understanding of visual communication and brand consistency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design and manage high-quality graphic designs for digital and print materials, including brochures, trade show materials, social media platforms, infographics, and advertisements.
- Maintain and enforce Thermo Bond brand standards across all marketing materials and platforms.
- Support copywriting for posts, project highlights, website content, and promotional materials
- Support development of branded promotional items, company apparel, and marketing merchandise.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of photography, video editing, or motion graphics is a plus.
- Work independently or as part of a team depending on project needs
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with co-workers and other departments
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on campaign planning, content strategy, and marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Business Development teams to transform technical specifications and department needs into clear, visually enticing designs for clients and partners.
- Organize and maintain the company’s digital asset library.
- Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with external vendors to ensure high-quality production.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards to ensure a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Mastery of skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) along with experience in web design, motion graphics and video editing
- Photography and videography experience (After Effects/Premiere Pro) is preferred
- Strong grasp of typography, layout composition, color theory and visual communication
- Professional portfolio demonstrating 2-4 high quality projects
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of AutoCAD or 3D modeling is a significant plus given our manufacturing focus
- Strong organizational, project management, creative skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under short deadlines
- Ability to accept constructive feedback
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates or bachelor’s in graphic design, Visual Communications or a related field
- 2+ years of experience of Graphic Design
TRAVEL, HOURS OF WORK, & SUPERVISION:
This position normally requires the individual to be physically present at one or more TBB manufacturing location Monday through Friday as deemed necessary. The Graphic Designer may be required to travel extensively and may frequently be required to remain out of town on overnight trips in fulfillment of his or her job responsibilities. This position will be reporting to Marketing Manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (including but not limited to):
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to work in cubicle setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
