Job Overview
Family owned ship and print shop is seeking a skilled graphic designer to join our dynamic team part time. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to design specifications. This position requires a blend of customer service, sales, technical skills, and creative insight.

Duties

• Create artwork for print including but not limit to business cards, flyers, posters, and mailers.
• Review artwork submitted for orders and prep for print production.
• Able to receive and organize orders in a fast pace environment
• Operate the store's print center for both graphic design and production.
• Ensure that production deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality
• Maintain equipment and workspace to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Operate digital and wide format printers, ensuring quality and efficiency in production
• Run calibrations
• Monitor the print process and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth production
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of print equipment.
• Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging.
• Provide estimates
• Work with clients to choose the best product for their end goals
• Maintain inventory of print supplies and materials

Must be willing to cross train and assist with our retail shipping department. This includes customer service, mailboxes, and pro packing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a print shop or print environment
• Experience with Fiery is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong focus on graphic design applications.
• Two to three years of experience or a two-year degree in graphic design or a related field
• Able to work and complete tasks independently in a quick turn environment
• Able to lift 50+ pounds

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
