Summary
Thrifty Ice Cream is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to support the company's packaging, print, digital, marketing, social media, web content, and overall brand creative needs. This role is responsible for creating polished, accurate, brand-consistent design work across multiple channels.
The ideal candidate has strong design fundamentals, experience with consumer product or food-related design, and a solid understanding of print production. This person should be able to take creative direction, develop professional design solutions, prepare files correctly for production, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
· Create and update packaging, print, digital, marketing, social media, web, and brand design assets.
· Prepare accurate production-ready artwork for packaging suppliers, printers, sign shops, merchandise vendors, and other production partners.
· Develop polished promotional graphics, sales materials, web-ready assets, digital content, signage, branded merchandise, and other company design materials.
· Maintain brand consistency across packaging, print materials, digital content, social media, website assets, signage, merchandise, and customer-facing materials.
· Review artwork for accuracy, including layout, typography, colors, product information, claims, regulatory text, barcodes, nutrition panels, and brand standards.
· Coordinate with internal teams, leadership, vendors, printers, packaging partners, and other external partners to complete design projects accurately and efficiently.
· Maintain organized design files, source files, proofs, exports, final artwork, and version history.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of professional graphic design experience.
· Portfolio showing relevant packaging, print, digital, marketing, social media, web content, or brand design work.
· Experience designing for packaging, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, retail products, print design, digital design, or marketing design.
· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
· Strong understanding of print production, dielines, bleeds, safe zones, Pantone colors, CMYK, RGB, resolution, file packaging, pre-flight checks, and production exports.
· Ability to create professional print and digital design assets, including production-ready artwork for printers, packaging suppliers, sign shops, merchandise vendors, and other production partners.
· Experience with product photography retouching, image compositing, and web image preparation.
· Experience creating social media graphics, promotional campaign visuals, digital ads, email marketing assets, and website graphics.
· Strong layout, typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across packaging, print, digital, and brand materials.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, work efficiently under deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
· Strong creative instincts with the ability to develop fresh, brand-appropriate design concepts that improve visual impact across packaging, print, digital, and marketing materials.
· Ability to follow creative direction and brand standards while contributing original ideas.
· Good communication skills and ability to work with internal teams, vendors, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience creating packaging concepts, production files, or campaign assets for established consumer brands.
· Familiarity with food or consumer product packaging standards and production workflows.
· Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for reviewing proofs, checking PDFs, preparing print files, or basic preflight workflows.
· Familiarity with common design, web content, and creative workflow tools.
· Experience working with external printers, packaging manufacturers, merchandise vendors, or sign shops.
· Practical understanding of AI-assisted creative tools and how they can improve workflow, ideation, content support, and design efficiency.
· Basic copywriting or marketing content experience.
· Familiarity with the Thrifty Ice Cream brand.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
