Graphic Designer and Customer Service Representative with Printing Experience

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer and Customer Service Representative with Printing Experience to join our team. As a Graphic Designer and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that effectively communicate our brand message. Your duties will include:

Graphic Design & Prepress

• Design layouts for print, signage, promotional items, and digital applications.
• Prepare customer artwork for production (preflight, file formatting, color management, bleed, etc.).
• Work with large-format and digital print files (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDRAW).
• Maintain brand consistency for clients across all marketing and print assets.
• Suggest creative solutions and upgrades to enhance customer projects.

Customer Service & Project Coordination

• Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries.
• Consult with customers on project needs, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide quotes, explain printing options, and manage proof approvals.
• Track orders from intake through production and delivery/installation.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.

Printing & Production Support

• Operate digital printers, copiers, wide-format printers, and finishing equipment (laminators, cutters, binders, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy and quality control throughout the production process.
• Assist production team with setup, finishing, and packaging when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of substrates, signage materials, and printing techniques.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience:
• 2+ years of graphic design experience (preferably in print/sign industry).
• Customer service or account management experience in a print shop or similar environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Knowledge of print file setup (CMYK, bleeds, DPI, vector vs raster).
• Familiarity with wide-format printing, signage, and finishing equipment a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
