Job Title: Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Creator

About the Role

Lakmé Academy Barasat is looking for a creative and trend-savvy Graphic Designer & Content Creator who can design visually stunning creatives, videos, and campaigns for our social media platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics, a keen understanding of digital trends, and the ability to translate the Lakmé brand’s premium style into engaging visuals that attract new students and showcase academy life.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Content Creation

• Design high-quality static and motion creatives for Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
• Create posters, reels, stories, banners, and ad creatives for marketing campaigns.
• Design promotional materials for online and offline campaigns (posters, standees, hoardings, etc.).
• Capture and edit photos/videos during academy events, workshops, and student activities.
• Ensure brand consistency with Lakmé Academy’s visual identity and tone of communication.

Social Media & Marketing Support

• Work with the marketing team to conceptualize monthly social media calendars.
• Develop creative concepts for course promotions, admissions, festivals, and trending topics.
• Stay updated with the latest design and social media trends in the beauty, fashion, and education sectors.
• Coordinate with counsellors and management for event and student highlights.
• Support paid ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google Display) with optimized visuals and copy inputs.

Requirements

• Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with a creative portfolio are welcome).

Technical Skills:

• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva (mandatory).
• Video editing skills (Premiere Pro & After Effects preferred).
• Understanding of aspect ratios, ad design guidelines, and visual storytelling.
• Photography & Cinematography

Soft Skills:

• Strong sense of design aesthetics, color, and typography.
• Passion for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle content.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
