Graphic Designer cum video editor with 2D Amination

Job Summary:

We are looking for a versatile creative professional who can independently handle both 2D animation and video editing tasks across a variety of projects and formats. This role requires strong expertise in rig-based 2D animation (not frame-by-frame) as well as hands-on experience editing short-form and long-form videos (including A-roll/B-roll) for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the full animation pipeline (pre-production to post), and the ability to craft professional, engaging video content from raw footage and static assets.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing

• Software: Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Edit A-roll and B-roll footage.
• Produce short-form videos (Reels, Shorts,) and long-form content (YouTube videos).
• Sync music, sound effects, and voiceovers as needed.
• Format and export for various platforms, maintaining proper resolution and aspect ratios.

2D Animation (Rig-Based)

• Software: Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Design and illustrate characters, backgrounds, props, and environments
• Develop storyboards and animatics during pre-production.
• Create rig-based animations (not frame-by-frame) using Adobe Animate, applying key animation principles.
• Animate characters and scenes from initial concept to final output.
• Take ownership of projects across all stages:

o Pre-Production: Storyboarding, scripting (if needed), asset design

o Production: Rigging, animating, editing video content

o Post-Production: Final edits, effects, exports, optimization for platforms

Required Skills & Tools:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially:

o Adobe Animate

o After Effects

o Premiere Pro

o Photoshop & Illustrator

• Strong knowledge of rig-based animation workflows and animation principles
• Video editing experience across both short-form and long-form formats
• Experience editing with A-roll/B-roll structure
• Ability to illustrate and rig characters, props, and backgrounds
• Strong eye for storytelling, timing, pacing, and design
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working across multiple projects

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):

• Graphic design skills (social media posts, thumbnails, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
