Graphic Designer / Customer Service

Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise, is seeking a candidate for Graphic Designer / Customer Service / Print Production (Bindery).

The position involves graphic design, digital print production/bindery, and customer service. Must have strong graphics & layout skills and the ability to learn and grow with our company.

Duties of the candidate will include:

• Customer service: assisting and consulting with clients about their projects in person, on the phone, and via email.
• Operating copiers/printers and finishing equipment - including cutting flyers & business cards, binding books, folding brochures, padding notepads, etc.
• Working with Adobe InDesign (required), Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Designing and troubleshooting files for print (Bleed, Crop Marks, and Imposition).

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent people skills and communication skills. Positive and friendly in person and over the phone.
• Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several client jobs at the same time.
• Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Pre-press experience and bindery/finishing experience is very helpful.
• Experience at a print or copy shop is helpful, but not required.
• FedEx Office, Staples Print & Copy Center, or UPS Store experience very helpful, but not required.
