Graphic Designer – DTF & Printed Materials

About Us

TEC SIGNS creates custom signage solutions for businesses across the Houston area — storefront signs, vehicle wraps, banners, event displays, LED, and apparel. We're hiring a Graphic Designer who can turn client ideas into print-ready artwork for DTF apparel transfers and a full range of printed materials.

What You'll Do

• Design and prep print-ready artwork for DTF (Direct-to-Film) apparel transfers
• Create and set up files for banners, signs, decals, business cards, flyers, and large-format prints
• Color-separate, size, and prep files to production specs (bleed, resolution, color profiles)
• Vectorize logos and clean up customer-supplied artwork
• Set up gang sheets to maximize DTF film usage and reduce waste
• Work directly with clients and production staff to nail proofs and revisions
• Manage multiple jobs and hit deadlines without sacrificing quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven graphic design experience, ideally in print, apparel, or signage
• Strong Adobe skills — Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Experience prepping DTF or heat-transfer artwork
• Solid understanding of print production: CMYK, resolution, bleed, vectorization, gang sheets
• Sharp eye for detail, color accuracy, and typography
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight turnarounds
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
