Graphic Designer I

Position Summary
We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring fresh design ideas and an eye for consistency across both digital and print media. This position supports the development of engaging visual content for internal communications, training programs, SharePoint sites, and presentations that align with our company’s brand standards and mission.
Key Responsibilities

Design and produce high-quality visuals for L&D deliverables including:

PowerPoint presentations, facilitator guides, and participant workbooks

Job aids, infographics, and quick-reference tools

E-learning visuals, course thumbnails, and video graphics

SharePoint banners, icons, and page layouts for internal resource sites

Collaborate with the instructional designer, educators, and subject matter experts to translate complex training content into clear, engaging visuals.

Support the development of visual standards for company-wide learning materials.

Assist in creating and maintaining branded PowerPoint and Word templates.

Contribute to the visual design of virtual and in-person training events, campaigns, and learning initiatives.

Manage multiple design projects in varying stages of development, ensuring timely delivery and version control.

Review and update existing materials to align with evolving brand and accessibility standards.

Support video production and editing for training or communication purposes as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field; equivalent professional experience accepted.

1–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, ideally supporting training, education, or internal communications.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).

Strong design skills within Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Word (template creation, layouts, icons, charts).

Experience with SharePoint page design and content formatting is a plus.

Familiarity with e-learning or multimedia tools (Canva, Articulate, Synthesia, video editing, or similar) a plus.

Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and accessibility principles.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
