Graphic Designer / Large Format Printing

We are an 18 year old leading full-service Graphics and Display Solution company manufacturing Display Stands, Kiosks, Signages; Exhibition stands etc. Located in Dubai Production City.

We are currently seeking Graphic Designer / Large Format Printing highly motivated and enjoy multitasking to join our expanding team.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate large format printing machines to produce high-quality prints for signage and advertising.
• Created precise color profiles using advanced expertise in X-Rite color management tools.
• Operated RIP software such as Onyx, Maintop, and Photoprint for accurate and efficient print processing.
• Calibrated and configured printing machines to meet job specs and ensure consistent color accuracy.
• Conducted routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure peak printer performance and minimize downtime.
• Manage print jobs from start to finish, including loading materials, monitoring runs, and completing finishing tasks.
• Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues like misfeeds, print errors, and mechanical problems.
• Report significant technical problems promptly to maintenance or external service providers.
• Monitor and track material usage and waste to enhance resource efficiency.
• Record details of completed print jobs, machine maintenance, and any adjustments made.
• Maintain detailed production logs tracking time, material usage, and waste per job.
• Report key production metrics to supervisors and suggest process improvements.
• Strictly follow safety protocols when operating printing equipment and handling materials.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience operating and handling wide format digital printing machines.
• Advanced working knowledge of using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other design related software’s
• Proven experience operating large format printing machines, preferably in the signage or advertising industry.
• Ability to interpret and understand printing specifications, job orders, and layout designs.
• Familiarity with various printing materials such as vinyl, fabric, and PVC.
• Capability to troubleshoot minor issues and think proactively to prevent downtime.
• Knowledge of colour calibration, colour profiles and print settings.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple print jobs simultaneously.
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality output.
