Graphic Designer On-site Position

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer is a creative, detail-oriented professional responsible for owning and

executing all visual brand output across digital and print channels. This role drives end-to-end

design production from concept to delivery, spanning email marketing campaigns, social media

content, and brand collateral for Gold Spectrum, as well as our sister company The Smoky

Grass Station.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce all visual assets including packaging, labels, digital ads, social

media graphics, email templates, print materials, and internal brand collateral

  • Contribute to the creative execution of email marketing campaigns, designing

high-converting templates, managing layout and visual strategy, and optimizing for

engagement and deliverability within Klaviyo

  • Create platform-specific social media content (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok) that

drives audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness

  • Maintain absolute brand consistency across every customer-facing touchpoint, evolving

the visual identity as the company scales

  • Ensure all creative output complies with state and local cannabis advertising regulations,

platform content policies, and packaging/labeling laws

  • Collaborate directly with leadership, marketing, and cross-functional teams to translate

business objectives into compelling visual solutions

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without sacrificing

quality

  • Continuously refine creative workflows, templates, and asset libraries to support speed,

scalability, and operational efficiency

  • Stay current on cannabis industry marketing trends, competitor branding, and emerging

design tools and techniques

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Brand Consistency: 100% adherence to brand guidelines across all channels and

materials

  • Asset Turnaround Time
  • Email Campaign Performance: Measurable improvement in open rates, click-through

rates, and visual engagement quarter over quarter

  • Social Media Engagement: Consistent growth in engagement metrics (likes, shares,

comments, saves) tied to designed content

  • Compliance Accuracy: Zero compliance violations across all published creative

packaging, digital, and print

  • Listing & Product Visual Quality: 100% of active SKUs supported with high-quality,

optimized product imagery

  • Project Completion Rate: 95% of design projects delivered on time and within scope
  • Revision Efficiency: Average of two or fewer revision rounds per project through clear

communication and strong first drafts

  • Proofing: There should be 100% accuracy in content provided at a project’s final

delivery. Proofing should be done by the designer prior to turning in final deliverable

Required Skills & Experience:

Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is required, including Photoshop, and Illustrator. Hands-on

experience with email marketing platforms and social media content creation is preferred.

Familiarity with cannabis industry advertising restrictions and compliant marketing practices is

strongly preferred. At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience is expected, but

more is always appreciated.

Bonus Points:

Marketing Experience, Motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).

Photography or photo retouching. Figma or collaborative design tools. Cannabis compliance

experience. Basic SEO knowledge as it relates to visual content.
