Graphic Designer / Print Production Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Graphics Production Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and troubleshooting customer-supplied artwork to ensure it meets technical specifications for large-format digital printing, specifically for event displays, trade show graphics, signage, and exhibit materials. You will work closely with the production and sales teams to ensure all files are production-ready and optimized for high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review incoming artwork files (PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, etc.) for completeness and print-readiness.
• Ensure correct file setup: bleed, color mode (CMYK/RGB), resolution, embedded fonts, and linked images.
• Preflight files using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and prepress-specific tools (Enfocus PitStop, Onyx, Caldera).
• Troubleshoot and correct common artwork issues (e.g., low resolution, missing fonts, color discrepancies).
• Work with clients or account managers to request updated or corrected artwork when necessary.
• Prepare files for RIP and printing based on media, size, and finishing requirements (grommets, hemming, contour cutting, etc.).
• Maintain file organization and naming conventions for efficient production workflow.
• Collaborate with print operators and finishing team to ensure seamless production handoff.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a prepress, preflight, or production graphics role—preferably in large-format or event display printing.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro.
• Experience with RIP software and large-format printing workflows is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of print production standards, color profiles, and finishing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external clients.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of materials up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven print production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
